Christian Reflex - Acts 4:23-37

Just like any good drama is filled with sequels that continue to unfold, so too the Scriptures are filled with unfolding dramas and sequels from cover to cover. The Gospel Reloaded tells the story of one of the most exciting sequels in all of Scripture - the continued ministry of Jesus after His life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension through the book of Acts. Today we will see what the signs of a healthy Christian life in the face of adversity, criticism, trial, and even persecution in the life of believers. First is an assurance of God's Providence, through creation, revelation and through the history of the church. Second is an attitude of prayer that asks not for God to deliver us from our circumstances, but to consider them in light of His sovereign will, for Him to empower us to do His will in the midst of them, and for Him to confirm that He is with us in the midst of them in miraculous ways.
